Hi Cheryl

I just want to reassure you, if you happened to read my lastest post, my

symptoms returning were of my own doing. I DID NOT LISTEN to those who told

me to take it slow and let my body heal. I was so excited to feel good,

(First time in over 10+) years) that I wanted to do everything that I couldnt

before surgery. I kept overdoing and pushing myself to the point of

exhaustion, took chances (Climbing on stool to kill wasp) and many other

thoughtless things.

I also was so anxious to feel completely well again, that I allowed myself to

have sinus surgery (which I had needed for several years). Who knows what

they did to my head and neck while I was under.

I have no regrets about my surgery in March of this year and if I find out I

need to have it again to fix what I screwed up I will. Those 2 months of

painfree days were worth a million dollars to me and I would give a million

if I could just have a few more.

Good luck to you and all who are thinking about the surgery. I am a success

story, I just didnt listen to follow up advice.

Doing great! Since I woke from surgery..no more choking. Since healed

from surgery, no more headaches from straining. Only problem I have is

feeling of something brushing across my face around my Rt eyebrow and down

nose and across my forehead. Some sort of nerve sensation. Dr Coimbra said

that once in a while patients would complain of this post ACM decompression.

Don't think there is any treatment....except to scratch! Ha!

Hope all goes well for you! I will add you to my prayer list! Where and

who will do your surgery? Keep in touch and let us know how things are going!

God Bless and comfort and give you and your family strength in the days

to come! ~~~~HUGS FROM TEXAS~~~~~~

Re: is everyone from th USA?

I'm from the UK too, Brighton, in fact. To my shame I tend to lurk

here rather than participate but I've found the group very useful.

The only slight problem being the need to be able to multiply by 18.

The upside, of course is the good ol' NHS meaning no negotiations

with insurance companies over who pays for those items and medication

we need.
