--HI JEWELS, IT'S A HARD TIME FOR ME AS WELL, MY SON WAS JUST

I fully understand what is happening to you. My daughter has her

days too and since she stopped taking Prozac I see her worse. She hated Prozac

(her own words). I will have to take her to the psychiatrist maybe he can

convince her to take it. I am not even sure that to take this drug is the best

thing for her. She does not know how to handle stress anymore. Currently she

would not go to sleep early no matter what I do. I also feel guilty, I am not

around because of my work. I wish I could work part time or stay home but my

income is all we have to survive right now. She is so bright but I am even

doubting she could finish High School. I am also praying for you.

Healthy liver = Healthy skin

If your liver is congested and can't keep up with the toxin load, the

skin takes over and begins grabbing it and pushing it out of the skin. I

believe this is what moles are, which would explain why some become

cancerous. Any thoughts on this?

Anyhow,

Take liver herbs and do liver cleanses until your skin is back looking

healthy again. It will happen as will many " allergies " clear up.

hi,

I have an 18 month old daughter and we both have yeast.

Does acne relate to yeast? My acne seems to be getting worse.

My 18 month old had antibiotics in the neonatal ICU at birth and I

think that has caused us tremendous problems. She now has lots of

food allergies, feeding problems, constipation, difficulty gaining

weight, etc.

She is on Custom Probiotics, the Specific Carbohydrate Diet,

magnesium, zinc, and Diflucan.

Has anyone else been through this and what have you done?

Any help appreciated.

Have you found a liver cleanse you like other than the grapefruit and

oil method Ken.

I'm not too fond of that one especially if a liver isn't truly clean

until it has passed 2000 stones...according to one source.

Acne relates to yeast in that yeast and other biological load

preoccupies the immune system, and superficial or chronic

infections would be less under cntrol. I'd suggest improving immune

Part of the trick is to stop making them.....lot's of things cause

them. Improper diet and stress for instance.

Sorry iv not got back to the board sooner but my head doesnt quite

feel like it belongs to me at the moment LOL.

Thanx for the advice but the only advice i can manage to take in just

now is " Take 1 day at a time. "

My son has been asking questions and he has saw me on this site (and

others about AS) and asked what it was. I told him what it is about

and he thought for a moment and asked if he had AS?

I was so taken aback that i sort of bottled out and told him they

(doctors) think he has and this is why he's been seeing a lot of

different people and getting a bit xtra help at school.

He didnt mention it again until 2day as he had to see the child

development doctor.

After about 20 mins of being there he asked he if he has AS.

She told him yes and then he asked " how do you get rid of it? "

She told him that he will just learn to deal with it better and get

help to control and learn about how others can help him and how to

help himself.

After we left he went into a screaming match as he didnt want to go

back to school. I physically had to take him back to school which

resulted in him saying he hated me, i wasnt him mum anymore, told me

to stop following him and ran to the school door to try and lock me

out (intercom system)

I had an appointment at the hairdressers (1st time in over a year)

and i felt awful and worried the whole time, looking at my mobile

incase the school called, but when i picked him up again he didnt

even blink and even told me my hair was nice!!!

How old is your son? how are things now?

---Welcome back , My son is 8YO.I know my son has seen and read

these messages, but has not asked any questions. I have gotten alot

of info off this site about how to educate him about AS. I think I'm

going to get some of the books they have recommended and see if he

can identify with it. He is requesting to go to another school

because he doesn't have any friends there and only has one friend in

the whole 2nd grade there. I feel for him! I said that he will have

to learn to make friends and give it time. He is complaining that he

hasn't learned anything new and is bored. The stuff they are

learning in 2nd he learned in kindergarten! The guilford county

school system is too large and there is 8 classes of 2nd graders. He

could have different kids in his class every year for 8 years! He

likes to be with the same kids and the ones he like last year moved

or were placed in a different class. It's hard to just sit back and

wait for services and let this all occur. He needs someone to play

with! there is no kids in our neighborhood to play with either. I

wish we would move but my husband is refusing, can't tolerate the

change and doesn't see the need to. (he is As too!)Does you child

have someone to play with in the afternoons? Gerri

Hi again Gerri,

Hope things have been a bit easier for your son at school, Liam hated

his last school and i dont blame him as he was constantly bullied not

only by other pupils but also by his teacher. I moved him at the

begining of term (sept) and now he seems to be better even tho he has

days when he says he doesnt want to go.

When Liam was seeing the child development doctor yesterday she asked

him about school and he said it was fine but he hated maths. When i

picked him up after school i told his teacher about his outburst

about not wanting to go to school and he said he thought Liam would

want to come back as he has maths and he LOVES maths!!!

Im really confused now LOL!

Liam has 1 good friend who is his next door neighbour and my best

friend's son but it really depends on what mood Liam is in whether he

wants to play with him. He will happily watch TV, DVD, go upstairs to

watch his big brother (16) play his PS2. It's not a big deal for Liam

not have some1 to play with but if he decides to go in for his friend

and his friend doesnt want to play with him he will come back very

upset and thinks every1 hates him and it can lead to a bad mood and

his shouting, hitting, and generally being nasty to every1 (me,

brothers, sisters ect) for the rest of the day.

Is there anyway you can visit a naturopath for your baby?

There seems to be a lot going on here that isn't getting addressed.

I am starting with a homeopath so I hope that helps. What do you

feel another naturopath could do?

I was saddened by your post with words like 'tremendous problems' and

'feeding problems'. You didn't mention you visited naturopaths. From

my experience with allopathic doctors I can safely say that generally

you aren't going to get helped at all with candida related issues. I'm

glad to see someone has constructively replied to your post already.

Just wanted to say Hi! I'm new here myself. My DS is 7.5 as well. He

was just diagnosed with AS, anxiety disorders and mild ADD. We have

had problems since the first day of preschool - unfortunately we just

heard about AS 3 months ago and did not get an official diagnosis until

one week ago - we were clueless as well. So we have a lot to learn

about AS - that's why we are here.

Christie,

Look up online search for sensory integration. You will find ideas there for

a sensory diet. My son seeks out proprioceptive input. Basically when he

returns home from school he bounces off the floor, walls and couches. He is

not currently on meds. We bought him something called a body sox. It was

recommended from his OT therapist. The OT at your childs school should be

able to give you some ideas to help your son at home. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info....unfortunately son does not currently receive

any services (including OT) at school. We have just had him

diagnosed and the school is starting the MFE process to determine

needs....I would guess that he will be receiving services from an

OT...definitely some sensory stuff going on. I've been told to

check out the book The Out of Sync Child and The Out of Sync Child

Has Fun. It's worth a shot. Thanks for responding and sharing,
