Please excuse the crossposting here.....I need help from ANYONE who has

answers for me!! Lenay????? Carolyn?????

I am absolutely so miffed that I need somewhere to vent and I think y'all are

a good start. I could definitely use some guidance! I have called BCBS

twice to request a copy of what they consider the medical criteria to cover

abdominoplasty as " reconstructive " and NOT " cosmetic. " Now I thought that I

AM entitled to this information as a paying member! However, NOW it seems

that they are DENYING me access to this information stating that " this

information is only released to our providers. The criteria is very

complicated and is in medical language. " Do they think I am entirely stupid

or what?? Grrrrrr.......now how in the h** do you " fight city hall " ?????? I

guess I will call the Indiana Insurance Commission today and file an official

complaint......if they think they can pass me by and get me outa their hair,

they have another think comin'!!!! I am gonna get REAL SQUEAKY NOW! I will

deluge them with letters and letters and phone calls till I get APPROPRIATE

answers from them!!! Any advice is most certainly WELCOME. PLEASE!!!! I

just don't think necessary to bother my PS with getting this information. I

WILL however, fax this letter to him and beg for help. However, they are

slower than molasses in January in his office and NOT very helpful to me! :(
