Guest guest
I would look good again because I feel good. I would no longer feel insufficient. I would not be dependent on prescription meds and would feel more in control. I guess I might go shopping and buy some things I want. Since I wont run out of energy I will clean the house. I will smile and feel a sense of peace. I will have the energy to take my children where they want to go after school. I will feel like a better mother because I don't have to tell my kids " momma's too tired.... " Or " mommy doesnt feel good.... " If the magic pill lasted, I would be in control of my entire life and not have to depend on someone else for anything and can raise my children the way I want, give them what I want to buy them, let my daughter join the extracurricular activities she wants, and not worry about the energy it takes me to get her there and back. I could free myself of the chains that bind me and limit all the things I can do. I could work more and make more money and have the energy to take care of the kids at the end of the day without feeling like a mack truck hit me. I would just be simply " tired " from the day's normal activities but not so exhausted I feel I can't take another step. And I could go to bed knowing that in the morning..... I will feel refreshed because now sleep works for me. Debra V. missle49 wrote: You wake up tomorrow morning and it is a beautiful day. The sun is shining and there is a gentle breeze. You are completely free to do as you want today. Your kids are being watched by a friend, there is no work today--its a legal holiday, and for once you have a little extra money. One more thing---you do not have fibromyalgia, you just took a magic pill last night and now you are cured for one day. What are you going to do today to celebrate your temporary good health, your temporary freedom, and the wonderful day. Come on everybody, think about it. It will be fun to find out what everybody thinks they would do given the chance. Annie --------------------------------- Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. Guest guest
Hi Debra V., Your pretend day is so selfless and giving, just like you are. It almost made me cry to realize that you wish for such simple things that we wouldn't have given a thought to a while ago, and now seem so unattainable. I hope they come up with a cure for all fo us. Have a great day even without the magic pill. Love, Annie > You wake up tomorrow morning and it is a beautiful day. Guest guest
I would clean the house, and then go and finish my band's CD so we can start giving it out. THese are two things I'd like to do, but never have the energy for... Loretta > > You wake up tomorrow morning and it is a beautiful day. The sun is > shining and there is a gentle breeze. Guest guest
Loretta, Cleaning my house seems like an unreachable dream as I have no help and I can't seem to get much done except getting through the day. Hopefully, they will figure out how to help us soon, and we will be able to do the chores that haunt us day after day. Good luck with your band's CD. Guest guest
Annie, I know what you mean about cleaning the house. I do what i can but the mess keeps on coming. My hubby thankfully helps around the house, mostly because he can't stand messes. LOL! Sometimes it really gets me down thinking of what needs to get done, especially with my fatigue. I hope they find something to help us all out with this fibro. My band got together this weekend and we got most of the tracks down, except a few guitar licks and the back-up vocals. This CD is actually starting to become a reality! This is a labour of love for all of us. We have been around on and off since 1993, but never had the means to make a CD. My hubby, who's the guitar player, wants to get the songs down because he says that the physical problems i have may make it impossible to do much in the future. Which saddens me... Anyway, thank you for your kind reply and i hope you have a wonderful day! gentle hugs, Loretta > > Loretta, > > Cleaning my house seems like an unreachable dream as I have no help > and I can't seem to get much done except getting through the day. > > Hopefully, they will figure out how to help us soon, and we will be > able to do the chores that haunt us day after day. > > Good luck with your band's CD. > > Love, > > Annie >
Guest guest
Loretta, What kind of music do you play? I'm sure it is wonderful to be able to make music. I can not, but I love to listen. You will have to let me know when your CD is finished. Guest guest
Annie, Yes we play progressive yet seventies style punk rock. Its kind of hard to explain.LOL! Most people consider us " Old School San punk rock " since we are out of SA and we've been playing on and off since 1993. Our band name is the Sewer Ratz, because we used to skip in high school and hang out in the drainage pipes nearby (when it wasn't raining of course), we were bad! We hope to have the CD ready for pressing in about a month. Then we will be on local radio and get anough money on CD's to make shirts, then we are going to try to raise money for a Texas/ West coast tour. I want to do this, it seems like it will be real fun. But my hubby is kind of scared that I will get sick or have a flare up on the road, so the tour may not happen. The band is real understanding of my limitations, which is great. My hubby's other band are going on tour on October 3 to the 11th. He's real exited, its his first tour, and they are going up to Memphis, Chicago, Green Bay and others. I'm just worried about the tour, I hope they will make it alright. They dont have a record company backing them up, so if something goes wrong, its up to them to fix it. I hate worrying, it makes me flare up. Anyway, thanks for the interest. I'll let the group know when it is finally pressed. Loretta > > Loretta, > > What kind of music do you play?
