Oh Leanne!

This is the first note I saw about your father. Will keep you in my

thoughts and prayers. I know you will greatly miss them both also. My

dad is in a nursing home in Tenn and I can't get there to see him and

my mom. He wouldn't know me anyway.

Leanne, what alot to deal with all at once. I am so sorry. My heart goes out

to you. Try to take care of yourself through this difficult time. I use to be

a hospice nurse and I have seen so much of what you just described. We miss

them but we know they no longer suffer. That is our only consolation. He truly

is in a much better place and at peace now. I believe that. Write us or me

anytime. Please try try to rest and eat like you need to.

Take care of yourself. Remember to rest. See if you local funeral home knows of

a greif group. My Mom when to one sponsered by our local funeral home. She

continues to go out to dinner with several of those who were in the group. My

grandmother has been gone for almost 8 years but we all still miss her. I still

expect to see her stop by (She lived in my old bedroom at my mom's). If I did go

and see her, she would walk around the block to see me. We had a special

relationship until she died. I was able to do her physical care and sat with her

most of the time at the end.

I just wanted to offer you a bit of support during your time of need.

I lost someone in my family that I was very close to.

I lost my older brother, who was a police officer almost 11 years ago.

So, i know what your feeling right now.
