Guest guest
Hi Duane and everybody: I'm new to the group. I've come in to the middle of a discussion on B12. A couple of years ago I started taking B12 injections once a week. (I had read something about it on the net). I have spinal problems from the cervical area down to the lumbar. I have had 2 discotomies, fusion with implant. With each surgery I was left with nerve damage into my hands. I found that the B12 helped the shaking I experienced in my hands. Then the beginning of this year I started taking B12, 3cc, injectible every second day. Within 2 days I felt like a new human being. I wasn't tired or falling asleep wherever I sat myself down. However a month or so ago, I started having problems with swelling in my foot. I have had this before when I first started taking narcotics, but it had settled down. Now my foot is so swollen I can not wear a shoe, and the skin is pulled so tight it is cracking. I know B12 can cause anti-diuretic effect, but I don't know if it is causing my problem. I stomached taking it for a few days and was dragging myself around. And I fall asleep whenever. Has anyone had any experience with B12. Guest guest
Marsha... I started B6/B12 a few weeks ago and I guess it is too early to tell if I am finding any relief... I have noticed it helps the fibre fog for a couple days... and the top of my thighs don't hurt... so tomorrow I get another shot and I am aching everywhere and we will see what happens.... thanks for the info... aka Spark
