Guest guest
Rita, So good to hear from you and good to hear that you broke that aweful plateau. 190!! WOW! Congrats to you Rita! Take care for now... heidi weight loss Hi All , As Kris mentioned I was holding my weight for 4 months. I used to get on the scales everyday and alas I always would weigh between 199-205 and when I woild get to 205 I would think Haha Rita I guess you have been eating too much junk food so then i would get back to 200 and there I stayed for the 4 months.Basically I resigned myself to thinking well this is it and this is where I will stay and I quit getting on the scales,But to my surprise the other day someone ask me if I was losing weight and I got on the scales 197 for a couple of days then 195 and now after 10 days I weigh 190 tada!!! lol So to all you out there just don't get discouraged it will come off in time like in its own time frame. This morning I had 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast but I eat alot and always have since week 3 after the surgery. I think one of the biggest problems is that we want to take the weight off asap after surgery and the mind is willing but the body isn't so the body has to catch up with the mind. Good luck to you all post ops and pre-ops Rita

Guest guest
Hooray!! After plateauing for a bit I am losing again. AS of today I weight 263. I am now 95 pounds lighter since Spetember when I started with the program. I added a protein shake and that seemed to make a difference. I also have been doing some strength training along with the water aerobics. I have found that if you add a tablespoon of butterscoth flavored sugar free instant pudding mix to the chocolate protein powder it really improves the flavor 100%. I blend it with a half of cup of milk and Ice cubes like Pat suggested. I wish I had known this when I first started out way back when I had my surgery. Ramona 1/13/2003 357/263/?
