There is one already setup, just waiting for someone to set a time, or even

just for casual use. The link is off my rosacea pages (as are most things

important :-) to http://www.escribe.com/health/rosacea-support/chat I hope

someone can find it useful - why not suggest a time and date and

specific topic for a chat session ?

What time frame would most people prefer? I know some poeple use work email and

some home email so let's pick a time both groups could have access. Or choose a

time.

I think maybe 6 or 7 pm some day might be good for people. I don't know. Need a

bit o' input from some of the other members.

Thanks for all your hard work on all the roseacea related things you have

done for us.

Unfortunately some of us don't live in the USA, so there could be a big time

difference!

Dang. :( That's the wee hours of the morning for me. I did go there though

to see if anyone was there. Looks like a good chat program.

With the time differences being a problem, maybe we could have the chat on at a

time and date suitable for most. For example, if we have it on a Saturday at

3pm San Francisco time, it would be a Saturday at 11pm in England, and it would

be a Sunday 9am in Australia. Well, you get my jist. The weekend may be better

because people have more time freed up. I know this leaves out the people who

have web access at work only.

I hope we can work something out. If you e-mail me your availability and

approximate location within the next few days, I'd try to set up a time where

most people could reasonably make the chat. I hate to have the chat room go to

waste. Matija

If people install and run mIRC: mIRC - An

Internet Relay Chat program

we can start a " rosacea " channel and have discussions there. IRC is a much

better chat medium for all internet users, including AOL members. It's also

kind of fun when you get to know your way around it.

Ok, i know people are visiting the chat room sporadically and not finding anyone

there. Also, the format is rather awkward. I have visited, and there is a time

delay, which makes " talking " to several different people difficut. Some people

have mentioned another, faster system which may be used for the chat room

format. Can anyone enlighten me on how this can be done?

I think that that existing chat room is not being used partially because of the

awkwardness of the format. Also, maybe if there was a direct link to it from the

egroups web page?

What's the concensus? Should we try to set up a chat time and just see what

happens or let people visit whenever and not have " scheduled " chat sessions?
