Guest guest
What time frame would most people prefer? I know some poeple use work email and some home email so let's pick a time both groups could have access. Or choose a time. I think maybe 6 or 7 pm some day might be good for people. I don't know. Need a bit o' input from some of the other members. - Thanks for all your hard work on all the roseacea related things you have done for us. ---- you wrote: > There is one already setup, just waiting for someone to set a time, or even > just for casual use. Guest guest
Unfortunately some of us don't live in the USA, so there could be a big time difference! > >What time frame would most people prefer? Guest guest
With the time differences being a problem, maybe we could have the chat on at a time and date suitable for most. For example, if we have it on a Saturday at 3pm San Francisco time, it would be a Saturday at 11pm in England, and it would be a Sunday 9am in Australia. Well, you get my jist. The weekend may be better because people have more time freed up. I know this leaves out the people who have web access at work only. I hope we can work something out. If you e-mail me your availability and approximate location within the next few days, I'd try to set up a time where most people could reasonably make the chat. I hate to have the chat room go to waste. Can anyone enlighten me on how this can be done? If people install and run mIRC: mIRC - An Internet Relay Chat program we can start a " rosacea " channel and have discussions there. IRC is a much better chat medium for all internet users, including AOL members. It's also kind of fun when you get to know your way around it. Guest guest
Ok, i know people are visiting the chat room sporadically and not finding anyone there. Also, the format is rather awkward. I have visited, and there is a time delay, which makes " talking " to several different people difficut. Some people have mentioned another, faster system which may be used for the chat room format. Can anyone enlighten me on how this can be done? I think that that existing chat room is not being used partially because of the awkwardness of the format. Also, maybe if there was a direct link to it from the egroups web page? What's the concensus? Should we try to set up a chat time and just see what happens or let people visit whenever and not have " scheduled " chat sessions? -. ------------------------------------------------------ Get the Latest News at CNN Interactive: http://CNN.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------
