I am wondering if the moisturizer could just be " zinc and dimethicone " I

have Norizate cream and would'nt need it in my moisturizer. Also, I would

like to know about " vit E oil " Has anyone tried to treat their face with

it? Trixi

Trixi, I've tried the oil from a burst vitamin e capsule. It stung my skin. It

works for some people, though. Try testing it on a small area of your face to

see how you react. Matija

<<Has anyone tried to treat their face with

I tried it a long time ago and it made things slightly worse right away, so I

gave up on that idea.

I have to tell you all, I've been much better since going on Tetracycline

and, believe it or not, switching from metrogel to metrocream. No more dry

skin, and apparently, the bit of alcohol in the metrocream is not bothering

me. I'm still drinking gallons of water, and I'm now taking Super B-Complex

along with my old faithful Evening Primrose, and I've also added acidophilus

capsules to the mix to counter the bad effects from the Tetracycline. Major

changes though -- first, my eyes are not bothering me any more. I didn't

realize how bad they were until I got relief. Next, the mild but chronic

seb/derm I had on my scalp is completely gone. I think I even had a bit in

my eyebrows because I found myself rubbing them during the day -- that's

stopped too. My eyelashes were itchy as well, but not any more. The redness

in my cheeks (it was mostly on the right side) is almost gone, and a veiny

looking red bump in my nose has all but disappeared. I haven't even been on

this routine for a whole week yet, and I've had incredible improvement. I

was very opposed to going on an antibiotic. I would much rather have been

able to beat this by natural methods and by diet, but I wasn't able to. I

did give it a heck of a run for a long time though! But at this point, I'm

really glad I caved. I just hope it lasts . . .

You need a script for Dimethicone, Zinc, and Noritate...but just Dimethicone

and Zinc are not scripts.......in fact they are in lots of OTC things.....if

you want the whole compound try asking Pete EXACTLY what he wants the dr to

write on the script.....good luck!

I tried to mail this to eisners@... but keep getting a message that it is

not a known member??????

Don't do the Kelp. You risk overdosing

on Iodine (probaly 6* recomended dose) and

it's a no-no for all skin problems.

BTW, the list Helen sends out was taken

from Prescription for Nutritional Healing...
