Hi Liz

I had endometriosis but I had a hystroctomy in 95 due to it being so bad. I

was 25 when I had the surgery.

Does anybody else have endometriosis too? Is that a common condition

with fibro?

Thanks all! Hope everyone is well!

Liz

Yes. I had endometriosis. It was severe. That was the first sign I had Fibro but

I was so young that they thought the pains were growing pains. I also was able

to have 1 child which I feel very blessed to have but we are watching her

because she has the early signs of Fibro.

Hi .

My mother had Endometriosis and they believe she had Fibro, but that was a

long time ago, she has been gone now 13 years. My daughter who has Fibro

pain, also has been told she may not be able to have children due to

Endometriosis. So I think the link could be there.

I forgot to ass to my post about this. I also had a total hysterectomy due to

the endometriosis and fibroid tumors that were the size of baseballs.

I had a total hysderectomy at age 30 where they found I had endometriosis. All

of it was removed.

Thanks for all your replies-

I am in pain most of the month but it sure gets much worse right

before and during my period, then I seem to be feeling pretty good for

a couple weeks - then it all starts again.

Did most of you have endo before fibro or fibro that escalated the endo?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have PCOS and a fibroid tumor in the uterus. SInce I have been on

Yasmin BC pill for several years it has helped the pain a lot however,

lately since fibro has been acting up and now you mention it I do

notice it flaring before my cycle begins. I have a Salonpas patch on

my neck and shoulder right now and it feels divine!

I am new to the group and have basically just " browsed " . I too have endo and

had surgery in 1995 @ age 30. I have figured out that I probably have had fibro

since my teens...ibs (spastic colon), arthritis, (no meds would work), always

feeling like " my bones hurt " . Thanks!
