I've been denied the procedure

I know how hard it is i am going through a lot of crap with my Medcial group but

I have been working with my INS and the thankfully are helping me and I have a

over turn and have won part of my appel I have a appointment on May 17th with a

different surgon I do have all my records from my first consult so we will see I

will keep all of you posted

Not all insurance policies provide care for obesity. Look at your

policy...... is there a section on treatment for obesity? a section on weight

loss

above a certain level? you must read the policy, not all cover this.

I work for a school district and they offer 2 different companies

for insurance. I have BCBS and my friend took 1st Care. Her policy

also excludes the WLS, while mine is going to cover mine (on May

22nd!). She was told to go to the school board and ask them to

include it in her policy because a lot of the time, companies can

pick and choose what they cover. I don't know if that is an option

for you or not....
