Guest guest
-Let's tar and feather that teacher!!!It's attitudes like that that give little girls complexes, and have screwed up this world. Why can't litte girls grow up to be " JUSST " Mommies? We don't need to have our children raised by strangers, we need to raise them. Don't get me wrong some women have to work, some women like to work and that is fine But damn it being Mommy is a full time job more power to those of you that can do it all but I know I have trouble with it. Brittany you go girl, grow up to be a great mommy and that come back and see that teacher and say " SEE!!!!! " I think I would not let her redo it, but after I calm down I would go in and talk to the teacher and make him explain why it's not a real job other then you get paid with hugs and kisses instead of the almighty dollar. Guest guest
You know I think this teacher has some kind of issues. Maybe she had her tubes tied and does not know about reversals. Maybe she is angry at the world because of it. Maybe something horrible happened to make her such an angry, spiteful person. Or maybe she has her head so far up her a** that she can't see daylight. What kind of a teacher would tell a young girl that being a mother is no job? This woman dedicates(supposedly) her life to teaching and molding children and yet defames the name of motherhood? I think not. Teaching requires less skill than mothering. We do not get our hour of free time in between gym and recesses. When our kids are sick, they come to us immediately. Not in the middle of the day, feeling fine. When the holidays come, we do not take two weeks off. We go into overdrive. Perhaps this woman has forgotten that without motherhood, there would be no need for teachers. So if motherhood is not a job, then what the hell does that say about her????????? Let me tell you, this pissed me off so bad. I cannot believe that woman. She is lucky I do not live by you, or I would visit her myself along with your principal and school board. Guest guest
Thank you...... According to Brittany and Clarissa they have the same Teachers just differant times... The assignment was write about what you would like to be when you Grow up... Now to me if thats a Garbage man or a super hero its Correct because it was an open ended Question also..... Clarissa wrote that she would love to go to a good collage and become a teacher and then A dr and someday do both like her asthma allergist... He gave her this bright idea...... She of course got an A+ she always does but the point is I think her answer pleased the Teacher more... I know teachers are not perfect. and I have learned some are not in for the kids at all. But I do have to say I have met alot of teachers who to me are perfect....... OT VENT MAD > I am a Kindergarten teacher and in the state we live in (KY). Guest guest
I just have to say something about this teacher stuff!! I know it will not be popular opinion but I have never been one to win popularity contests!! :-) I would not trust ANY TEACHER with my children. They are not educated to care for you child. They do not and can not have your individual childs best interest at heart. It is humanly impossible for one teacher in a room full of children the same age to give each child the individual, personal attention that they need and deserve. I realize that not everyone is in a position to teach their own children but I wouldn't trade it for the world! We have homeschooled for 5 years now and I have horror stories unbelievable about public education and the teachers in them. Our oldest daughter will be scarred for life due to public school teachers. I wouldn't wish that on any child! Enough of my rant and rave!! I would definitely tell this teacher the reality of mothering, as it is not only a job but the most important one on earth. I have found a poem on line that I think this teacher needs to read. If I can find it I will send it!! A job like no other and certainly not one to be ashamed of!! Mother and proud of it! Janice Re: OT VENT MAD Okay, I take back anything bad I said about teachers. Guest guest
OMG!! I really don't like her teacher!! How does that old poem go? A mom IS a teacher, counselor, nurse, chef, etc etc? Her dream is hers, no her teacher's to " correct " because it's not the one she would choose. All I ever wanted to be as a little girl was a mom also, I got there and eventually the babies started to grow up so I got me a hobby...Real Estate. Yes I get paid $$ for the hobby but my real job, the one I get paid in smiles and hugs with is the one I much prefer. I'd take that directly to the principal, is that not some kind of discrimination? One of my boys once wanted to play the flute, the band director told me that they try to reserve such instruments for the female students! We won that battle, and the school even bought him a flute to play! He's the best flutist they have in the band, take the bad grade, let her stand up for her beliefs! Just because her teacher is nearsighted doesn't mean this bright little girl should be!! Oh, sorry...I got a little carried away there. Guest guest
--I wish I had homeschooled my kids (and I have horror stories about homeschoolers too but I won't go there) but my schools new thing is teaching sexualy harrasment. They were not pleased when I chose to not let my son participate in the second half (he never showed me the note until 5 mins before we were going out the door to school and I didn't take the time I should have to look at it) after the first session he accused a ta, who I know well, of sexual harrasement right in front of me. She was just picking on him telling him he couldn't see me and kind of moving in front of him to block his way(much like a basketball player will to keep the guy from passing the ball) and he told her that was sexual harrasement. You should have seen her face, I was livid and went to see the woman in charge and said no more...Then today after the second half one of the girls came up to me Mrs. D, he called me a guy. The lady came in this morning and told us that was sexual harrasement. Oh I was so not pleased and gave her an earful, will probably be fired by mond. this is just so stupid, teach my kid math and science and reading don't get this ^ & %(* in their head. sorry upset about it and had to share - In TubalLigationReversal , " Crane Family " <kalos@c...> wrote: > I just have to say something about this teacher stuff!! They do not and can not have your individual childs best interest at heart. It is humanly impossible for one teacher in a room full of children the same age to give each child the individual, personal attention that they need and deserve. Guest guest
We have tasted the public school and would never go back. I have to say that I have also seen, first hand, mothers who took their children out of school to homeschool them and then pretty much leave them be. I don't think one has to be extremely strict but geesh ya gotta at least try. We have quite a few homeschoolers around here. Illlinois is one of the most lax states in the area of homeschooling. That is good for me but bad for kids who are pretty much left to their own devices. I had my children not participate in the schools sex education program. They thought that all they had to do was let me see the videos before hand and I would go along with them. But for us, we feel that it is totally the parents responsibility and not the government school. So we kept them out and took the flak for it!! C'est la vie!! They are my kiddos anyway!!!!!! Blessings, Janice Re: OT VENT MAD > > > Okay, > > I take back anything bad I said about teachers. There are some good > ones. I apologize to any teachers out there.
