Guest guest
Perhaps she doesn't know; medicine is far from being an exact science. Re-introduction & eating I'm frustrated because she can't/won't give me a straight answers as to why this is happening.
Guest guest
I'm not Debbie, but I would have to say that my dr is not on the take... He told me that I have type two, and that I need to start loosing weight, working out, and eating right. If we cant control it, then he will think about medication. He is also the one that advised me that I can eat and use ginger for an anti inflammatory when I got tendonitis in my knees and refused pain meds. My husband went in with a hurt back, and he did a complete manual adjustment on him then prescribed some muscle relaxes, and pain meds, because he couldn't get him fully adjusted because of how tight it was. Hubby fills these, but doesn't use them... Angelia in OR who is happy that her dr is a great guy! ----- Original Message ----- > " I'm frustrated because she can't/won't give me a straight answers as to why this is happening. If so this explains the overmedication. Not knowing much about diabetes I wonder if the odd spike means much in the scheme of things unless it makes you feel strange or something? I do have a lot of experience in the politics of drug marketing but anyone can gain this info by keeping themselves informed of court cases against the drug companies. It's all on the internet. > > Can I ask another question? if you are doing well on such a large dose of Metformin, have you tried to reduce it by 10% at a time to see if it makes a difference to you? Remember that doctors just love to switch patients to the latest junk out there because of supposed benefits to patients. I suspect that I do know who else it benefits ;-) > > Regards > > Randall >

Randall, We do not tell any members to reduce meds without them discussing it with their doctor. I have great doctors and none of them are on the " take " . They believe in meds, but they also know when a patient doesn't need it. Eunice
