Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds. Try to do 45 minutes 4 times a

week. I'm working up to doing the 30 minute or 15 minute the other 3

days of the week.

Whenever I go out on an errand, I ask myself, " Could I do this one the

bike? " If the answer is 'yes', then I do so.

what kinds of exercise?

I borrowed my neighbor's bike last week and took it on the trail a

couple of

times. After the first 8 miles, I was hooked. I am so happy to say

that I

just got myself a new bicycle today. I did 4 1/2 miles tonight and it

felt

great. It's so hard for me to believe that I still remember how to even

ride one.

I hadn't ridden in 30 years before last week.

I ride my recumbant bicycle or cardioglide daily, and I do some

light weight lifting every other day.

I work out of my home and am here at the computer most of my time.

My biggest problem is lack of exercise. I tried Curves but I did

not enjoy that. I am afraid of dogs to walk outside. The machines

are boring, but I don't know what else to do.

I live in Dallas and it is HOT! I have starting

playing a PlayStation2 game for exercise. DOn't laugh

-- it's true! The control is about a 3ft sqaure mat

that you stand on and move to the dance music and

arrows on the screen. They have game mode, work out

mode and others. It's fun and I actually enjoy it. I

am up to 30 minutes a night. I also walk on the

treadmill. Anything to stay inside!

Kat,

I'll be wishing I had some sort of machine this winter. My packing and bike

riding days will be mostly over as we get lots of snow. Did I hear someone

say......cross country skiing???

The life I love is packing donkeys with my friends

And I can't wait to get on the trail again.

LOL Candace! :) <BIG G>

Me, I break out in hives and have to go to bed for days. <g>

No really, I walk a lot and work in the garden when I can. Right now I

haven't been getting as much exercise as I would like and only walk a couple of

miles a day to and from work.
