Guest guest
The EMSAT meeting is scheduled for the Big Thicket room at the HYATT, not the convention center. EMSAT Annual Meeting Greetings Fellow EMSAT Members, Time is growing near for the return of your Official Voting Ballot. Please remember that your completed ballots are to be " Postmarked " no later than November 4, 2002. Any ballots that are postmarked after November 4, 2002, will not be counted. If you are not mailing your ballots and instead are bringing them to the EMSAT Annual Meeting on November 24, 2002 in Austin, please remember that the Annual Meeting begins at 1:00 PM at the Big Thicket room in the Convention Center. Please take time NOW to complete your ballot and place it in the mail BEFORE November 4. Again, thanks for everyone's cooperation and we shall see you in Austin on November 24, 2002. Sincerely, Scarborough, EMT/P Secretary, Board of Directors EMSAT

The ballots ar due in by November 4, 2002, but you can brong them to the meeting November 24, 2002. Please clarify (although I can't vote because I am a doctor and affiliate member as I don't hold active Texas EMS certification). BEB E. Guest guest
I'll echo Bob's post. thanks for clearing this up. I know we got moved from the S. Padre Room for the Rural EMS Task Force, but thought the meetings we're at the convention center. So now we have time to let our folks know it's at the Hyatt. Thanks for all you and the rest of the Conference Group do for all of us. You can vote by mail with the ballot mailed to the votig members, as long as it is postmarked on or before Nov.4th. Which is spelled out in the letter sent out. 2. If you don't want to vote by mail, but in person; you can vote at the Annual EMSAT Memership Meeting at the Texas EMS Conference in Person. Thanks, Ron > Also, , I don't follow this balloting. Guest guest
I hope that everyone on this List appreciates the extraordinary work that turns out on behalf of the BEM. As we all know, times are tough there and is shouldering a lot of the work that was previously dispersed among other (now gone) BEM staff. Thanks for your yeoman's effort. Guest guest
Thanks for the kind words. I would be terribly remiss if I did not jump back in and say that everything done here for the conference and magazine is a group effort of our team, EMS Information and Injury Prevention, which includes Jan Brizendine, Penny Workman and Rivers, and the many other Bureau employees in central and regional offices who have stepped up to the plate as the number of players on the team dwindled!
