Guest guest
Just an update on our dissappearing doctor. Since last week I have found out bits and pieces as to what happened to 's doctor and the practice itself. Her doctor was now going to practice at the hospital across the street from the practice - in patient care and was going to continue seeing a select few of his own patients. Don't know where the other doctors went. Seems to have been some problems with whomever actually owned the practice (management issues I'm assuming). Anyways, in the new practice, the doctor there was going to see till they got a pediatric phsyciatrist - sometimes next month. So I had signed a release to get her records from the old doctor - now that I knew where he was. Was still trying to find out what had happened and what was his excuse for not notifying his patients. Well, guess who I get a call from today?? He had called after receiving the release for 's medical records which he didn't understand why. The first thing I said to him when he called was, " I was wondering where in the heck you had gone " and let him know that I was madder than hell. He said a mailing was supposed to have been sent out to all his paitents and from what I understand none were sent by whomever it was that was supposed to be sending it. Anyways, is one of the patients that is not an in patient that he is going to continue seeing. I was so relieved - never had any complaints about him and he always worked well with me in regards to 's care. So the mystery of the dissappearing doctor has been solved. Thanks for the help of those that wrote me.
