It sure does ka! My Rheumatoligist did start me on something different (for the rls), I think it is helping but only been a week, so the verdict is still out. It is Requip, have you tried it?Peggyb> >> > > > Do any of the rest of you have RLS? Do you think it goes with FMS? I > have both, and it seems to me that one feeds off the other. : You feel that way because the medical practitioners allow you to feel that way. They can't figure out what is going on so it MUST all be in your head right? You want attention, right? I am currently looking far and wide for the right doctor for myself. I plan to be blunt and say that I don't intend to waste their time, as it's only a waste of mine if they aren't going to help me pursue ways to better my lifestyle. I think my "moment" of clarity was last week, when I told my boss that I am done trying to find out WHY I hurt. I am now focusing on the fact that I DO hurt and want to find ways that I can help myself. I felt like a hypochondriac in the doctors office because there was no easy answer. Hang in there. By the way, I have had RLS as long as I can remember...and I am only 32!! Liz

It just have an overwhelming need to move.. I never really thought to much about it till I had

heard the of RLS? But sometimes I fell like maybe I have just think I have something because I have heard of it? One of my biggest fears Is being a hypochondriac lol -- Re: FMS/RLS peggy1993 wrote: Do any of the rest of you have RLS? Do you think it goes with FMS? Hi Peggy:

I was diagnosed with the RLS first, then Fibromyalgia after many blood tests and everything else was ruled out.

I take Carbidopa/Levidopa for the RLS and Cymbalta for the Fibro right now.

Hugs,

FMS/RLS

RLS is the urge to move your legs and when it gets bad, your legs will move and jerk on their own. It's hard to sit in one position for very long. The first time I had it I was terrified because I didn't know what was going on. My legs were always feeling so strange at night when I would try to sleep. That is one of the symptoms of Fibro.

Hugs,

Hi ,

I have never tried or heard of Cymbalta for the fibro. Does it help the fibro much? I will have to remember to ask my Rheumy about it when I see her again.

Hi Peggy:

Cymbalta is an anti-depressant but is also used for Chronic pain. It helps to take the edge off, but it isn't a cure-all.
