Guest guest
Rhonda I also am starting the diet Monday. I also have been out all day shopping and comparing prices. Wild Oats is totally outrageous and there organic produce is sky high. Of course I figured this out after I bought stuff there then went to Trader Joes and Living Earth. So far living earth and Bread & Cirsuc are the best I have found and prices are pretty much the same. I can't get over how much the flours are and how little you get. I really need to find these in bulk. I ordered a catalog from a couple of on-line specialty stores mentioned buy people on this list. Hope you had a better day shopping than I did. Good luck on the diet I am really excited and scared at the same time. Terry mom to 4yo PDD-NOS
Guest guest
Rhonda I also keep a 3 ring binder for all Nik's diet stuff. I have a section for notes on-line, recipes, copy of salicylate foods, copy of phenol foods, and food list. I typed up a list of all the foods I think my son will eat and the baking stuff I need . I also made 4 colums for the 4 HFS around me to compare there prices and what products they carry. This has come in real handy when going to the store. Of course I feel like an idiot when I go through the store with a notebook. But oh well that life. I also hope this shopping will get easier.
