Guest guest Posted January 16, 2003 Report Share Posted January 16, 2003 Prayers being said Prayers Hi Ladies, I have to take my back to New Orleans Feb 10th, to the eye specialist.Please keep him in your prayers.As most of you know he is visually impaired.Well He had partcial vision in 1 eye,,,enough to see close up..but uses a cane for getting around.Well now he is having to hold things, books, papers,everything within 1-2 inches of his face & still has to ask what it is.He has some large print books , and a enlarger at school & still has to ask what they are.We knew this was coming & I can deal with it, sometimes.But we do not want them to do unnecessary things, and inflict more pain than he has already been through.Now he is asking if he will be able to see when he wakes up...everynight.Well what do you tell a 10 yr old.( he will be 10 saturday)??DH & DD ( she is 8) is having a hard time understanding.Its extra hard on DS because he also has learning disabilities..so it makes school difficult.. & now he is fighting me ,,trying not to go.to top it all off he is sick right now, fever, and headaches.So please keep him in your prayers, and may god continue to give me the stregnth to get them all through this.
