Hello,

Anyone out there have any success finding a compounding pharmacy to put the zinc

and dimethicone together? I have tried locally and over the internet with no

success! Help, any suggestions?

Also, I just want to say in my own experience I have tried sulfur/zinc product

on my cheek area for the past 8 months and this has helped. At the time I had

no idea why - just worked for me. It is interesting that Dr. Nase explained why

certian things feel good to our sensitive

skin. Also, I have been using a lotion that contains no alcohol but does

contain dimethicone. This too has been the only cream that does not bother my

skin. Rather makes it feel protected from the elements. Again I had no idea why

(am glad the doctor shed some light on this).

In my experience with derms - not one has listened to what I have to say and

they always recommend that I not use the products I was using and go to

metrocream, cetphil and so on. These things do not work (in my experience) so I

have gone my own way and when I did this is when I saw my skin begin to calm

down and clear up. I also for a time used the cea Ltd. disc (about 2-3

months) it cleared up alot of the pimples (not all) but did nothing for my cheek

area. I still use the brown disc from time to time on my chin area.

Thanks for listening hope this helps someone out there! Darlene
