Guest guest
I found out in Aug. I was pregnant for the sixth time we said one more baby and I was going to get my tubes tied. I went in Sept. for an ultra-sound and I saw two babies. Therefore, when I went to the doctor's office my doctor told me I should have a seat, and ask why it was only twins. She said no that there were three, triplets. I did then about fall over, I made them print out a paper stating how many babies there were to take home to my husband. I knew that if I told him that we were having triplets he would just think I was joking. Therefore, when I did go home I told him to guess how many babies we were having, he was joking and said three. I showed him the paper telling us how many babies they had found, I then thought he was going to pass out. That was just the start of things that have happen this year. My pregnancy has been very normal until the end read on to see why I think my babies are miracles. My babies were due April 16, 2006. Well my house burnt down but, all of my children are ok and my husband and I are ok as well. I went to the doctor today and the triplets are doing ok as well. We woke up on 1-25-06 Wednesday morning about 1:15 with the fire alarm going off and the house full of smoke. We had wood heat; we had a room just for the Wood stove so the children were less likely to get hurt or around it. We looked down the hall and saw that more than the wood stove was on fire the whole room was. My husband was going to try to put the fire out but, it was to far gone. Therefore, we just started getting the children out of the house. That was one time that I was that my two littlest ones were sleeping in the same bed as we were. We got out of the house and meet in our meeting place. DH got the dogs but we could not find the cats. Later we found out that one of the cats did not make it we have not seen the other one so he might have gotten out. It was one of the windiest nights that we have had here in the Mountains of North Carolina. I shoved the two littlest children outside with nothing on they go to bed with pj's on but, by morning they have taken them off. The two 14 year old's had their clothing on. My 7 year old had just a shirt on. I had just a t-shirt on and underwear. My oldest daughter was away at college. DH who had gotten up first had most every thing on. I just thank the Lord each and every day that my children and we are all ok. We may have lost all of our worldly things, but we still have each other I just don't know what I would do if something happened to one of my children or one of us. I have only 5 more weeks to go before the triplets get here. Even though we thought, they were going to come earlier when the house burned down. I started to have contractions but once I got to lie down and rest they went away. We rented and were stupid enough not to have renters insurance, we are staying with my mom in a small place my sister and her one child also live here I home we can find another house soon. & #65532; Smoke rises from the ashes the morning after a fire in Crumpler. Photos by Beckie Duvall & #65532; & #65532; I went on the 13 of March 2006 I was admitted to the hospital which is 2 ½ hours away from my home. I was there until Feb 8 2006, I was lying in bed watching TV and my water broke. We have babies the girls were borne on 3-04-6 around 11:00 pm Willow-mina 3lb 10.8 oz, Wednesday 3lb 3.4 oz Wisteria 3lb 7.4 oz. They are doing good Willow- mina has been on room air all the time. Wednesday had to have some help breathing. Wisteria had to have a breathing tube and now is on has the cpath, and getting better each day. I am trying to drive to see them every other day. I have six other children at home and the younger ones are having a hard time coping with all that has went on in the past year, and mommy being away from home all the time was getting very hard on them. It was hurting their grades at school and other things. The babies have gone to the intermediate nursery but could be there from two weeks to a month longer. I wished they were closer home so I could spend more time with all of my family. We rented a singlewide trailer that is in need of many repairs. It is a three-bed room but, small for 11 people to live in. If anyone else has, any questions just ask. We got to bring home Willow-mina and Wednesday home on the when they were three weeks old then Willow-mina got a bad infection and had to go back to the NICU she almost died. Therefore, on the 10th of April Willow-mina and Wisteria got to come home so all three of the triplets are at home now. We are still looking for a bigger place to live but, everything we look at people tell us we have to many children that 9 is to many well I did not plan on the triplets being triplets just one more baby. However, the triplets are wonderful and I would not know what to do with out them. I just wish we had a bigger place for my children to live so they are not so stressed out and could do better in school. The triplets are all home now they have been home for two weeks now.
