Hi Candace,

There is no lye in soap - unless its made very badly. Soap is the chemical

reaction between lye and the oils (fats) used. Ive used hand made soap for

20 years, and even carry a little sliver in my bag to wash my hands if I am

out. No way am I going to use commercial stuff.

There is no " lye " in the end product if made correctly. It is the only hand

and body soap that we use here at home, and I have VERY sensitive skin. I

love making soap!!!

Angelia in OR who needs to make more soap, we are almost out!

Ah , do you have a web site? I have been more and more interested on

products not tested on animals. And most of the grocery store stuff does

just that. Puts the soap in their eyes and worse..:( it breaks my

heart...
