Guest guest
I never said that you had to eat grains to get your carbs. Just that your body needs them... And each body is different, so you may be able to get by with less carbs than others. 60 carbs per day is very close to the 75 g that My nutritionalist and brother in law recommend. I recommend getting your nutrients from as many veggies as you can. Doesn't always have to have " fruit " either. Though the fiber in apples cant be beat! You are very right to say that all fruits and veggies have carbs, because they do. And most of them are full of " good " carbs and good for you things like antioxidants. Things that are said to prevent types of cancer... It isn't just pasta, grains, and potatoes that give carbs... WHOOOO on your weight loss too! When I realized that they do belong there, that 60% thing made a bit more sense. Am I the only one who thinks it's unfair that fat's got 9 calories per gram, and proteins and carbs only have 4?! If they all had 4 - I prolly get about 33% each. Maybe. I'd have to do the math. LOL. -- Long live the melt! 330/312/
