Guest guest
If you think the lactose is the culprit, then try soy protein. I personally haven't tried it, but it can't taste any worse than the whey protein. I've been drinking those shakes for so long, I actually consider them a treat now. Guest guest
I am waiting for my surgeon to call back. The nurse thought it sounded like the flu. uhhhh doesn't all of the symptoms of this surgery sound like the flu!?? Hopefully it isn't a blockage because I am 230 miles from my surgeon's office. At least I am still using the bathroom so that makes me less worried but worried none the less. --- marigoldblue3eb wrote: > at this stage i would check with your dr to make > sure you are > developing stenosis, or a blockage. my mom had an > intestinal > blockage and had the same symptoms, if it doesn't > get better opr > gets wors i would definately call! > good luck! > > > > hello all. > > > > > > Today is my start of the third week after > sugery. Guest guest
Hi Margie!! Sorry you had such a crummy day!! I hope today is going better. I gagged with bbq sauce. Which was really weird, considering that I LOVED bbq pre op. I have also done this with other things. If you can't get food down try protein shakes, try cottage cheese, low fat refried beans, pureed chili, and keep the water going. If you are having a hard time with water I would try taking a small sip every 5 min. Add lemon to it or you can also try SF popsicles. If this feeling doesn't go away in a few days I would call your surgeon's office and see what they say. Hugs!! > > > hello all. > > Today is my start of the third week after sugery. Guest guest
Thank you for the response. I have been eating yogurt and keeping it down. I have thursh on my tongue and down my esophogus. We are hoping this is what the pain is from in my tummy. If not then I will have to get scoped by my surgeon to see if it is anything else. --- " O.
