I am going through the very same thing as we speak, my only problem is for a

couple of days i will stay at 199 then go as high as 205, i know they say muscle

weights more than fat, but i can't be that much muscle, I just want to get down

to a size 9/10 and it doesn't seem to be happening, i am in a size 14 strech,

and yesterday i bought a size 12/14 but those were the workout clothes the ones

that strech, i am really afraid to even try on a size 12, guess i have to keep

on keeping on.

Thank you for the nice comment, . I need inspiration as I sit here

eating cooked cabbage and carrots with a soy burger on a whole grain bun.

Actually, I like what I eat or I wouldn't eat it.

Sizes aren't everything. I am trying to teach myself my own words. I am

preoccupied with getting into a particular size. What I forget is that my best

friend of 25 years is six inches shorter than I am so it's only natural that she

is wearing a size 8 and I'm not.

I have also learned that I cannot have daily access to a scale or I'll go

nuts. My weight can fluctuate five pounds a day. I try to weigh once a week,

but have a real hard time with it.

I've also find that different brands mean different sizes. I may buy a pair

of size 15 juniors jeans, but am wearing a 1x top. Or I will buy a size large

juniors tank top and be wearing a size 16 jeans. Even after maintaining the

same weight for three years, I still can't guage what will fit. I try

everything on because I just can't believe I can fit into it. I am always

amazed when I'm folding laundry that that little tiny shirt is mine. It just

doesn't seem real.

If fitting into that size is your real goal, then eventually you will do it.

I keep saying to myself, the weight didn't come on overnight, it shouldn't take

overnight for it to come off. I am a very impatient person and want results

now. I get discouraged when I don't see those results fast enough. I guess

that's why I lost 190 lbs. in nine months.

I have an inspirational poster in my bedroom that has a girl strength

training. The slogan says, " The best way to get me to do something is tell me I

can't do it. " Words to live by.

Keep up the good work and results will come.

recognize my own clothing, maybe i am being unrealistic. i can say that i will

try to stay away from the scale, but it will be very hard, I have weighed myself
