Guest guest
I cant wait to turn heads... I was thin ... well thinner by far than now... when I was young and I remember that feeling but it was a gazillion years ago. I want it back I cant wait. Heck I've gotten to where I hate getting dressed in the morning, hehe. I cant wait to get up and look forward to going into my closet. HA My fiance is really worried about the surgery. I know it's because of my heart but I wonder if there isn't a little bit of worry from how others will look at me. I'll tell him about your hubby and how good it makes him feel, maybe that will reassure him a bit. Ann -- Re: Head turning Going through the WLS, revision for a leak and two reconstructive surgeries was all well worth it just to turn heads. My god I love it. I eat it for breakfast. I love to look great and even though I'm married, I love to turn heads. Heck I even have women who are strangers compliment me. What a weird feeling to have a perfect young woman come up to me and tell me I look so trendy. Trendy, me trendy. The person who used to wear a size 34 (and busting out of it) trendy. I could have kissed her. I have men go up to my husband and tell him that his wife is beautiful. Talk about a head trip. He eats it up too. Between all of you and me, he isn't much of a looker, but he has a huge heart. commnavhomepac wrote: Wooohooooo Jill!!! Guest guest
Tell him that he will be proud as a peacock to take you out when you are making your debut. Instead of being jealous, he enjoys knowing that other men find me attractive. He doesn't mind a bit if someone asks me to dance, since he is not a dancer. He doesn't feel threatened or upset that I look so much better now. Heck, sometimes he tells me when he catches someone checking me out. He'll make little jokes like, maybe I should leave so you can pick yourself out a man. lol Like that'll ever happen. The one I have loves me to the end of the earth. I guess I'm very fortunate that I sit atop a diamond pedestal. RoosMom wrote: I cant wait to turn heads... Guest guest
The waiting was awful, and my wait time was relatively short. I filled out my paperwork in November, had my consult on Feb 17th. My final consult is on Monday. Tentative surgery date is May 1. I did jump through all of the hoops quickly. I had everything done by March 7th. So much has gone wrong that I can't let myself celebrate it yet. Insurance has approved. It's been more of a battle with the Dr's office than with my insurance. Sick huh?
