What did you tell your employer about your surgery?

Hi all,

I was wondering what, if any detail at all, needs to be told to your

employer? Is there a privacy law or something that dictates that you

don't have to give details? Thanks for any info!

My boss wanted us to plan out our vacations for the year back in

January. If that's not a joke, i don't know what is. Who plans that

out in the beginning of the year. Well, I basically said, im looking

to have gastric bypass this year, and I just can NOT plan my vacation.

I will be using my vacation and sick time towards that. As soon as I

know anything, i'll let you know. So my boss was ok with it, and her

boss and his boss
