Guest guest
Hello to all, I lost Louanne's post, but thought this may be of some help to anyone who spends a lot of time in the bed or sitting -- that has a problem with bed sores. My Mom and sister are both nurses, and one of the things they use quite often for this is Barbasol (the shaving cream) I'm not sure I spelled it right. Use it as a lotion -- my hubby's mother took a bad spell, and was bed / chair ridden for quite a while, and was having a terrible time with bed sores. When they started using the Barbasol on her, she never had another sore pop up. May not work for everyone, but would definitely be worth a try. Guest guest
Read Your message about Barbosal shave cream for bed sores. Another thing which helped my son while in halo for 6months and wheel chair, also bedriden for 8 weeks in a spika cast when he had bilaterial hip surgery was, Cetaphil lotion and Cetaphil cleanser, no break thus or bed sores still use it on a daily basis for his extremly dry skin.
