How can this be when the Doc. has seen a vaginal septum and a

I too lost my right ovary and tube at 19 and have a long history

with many u/s along the way. It wasn't until I was 33 that an

anomoly was mentioned in any u/s reports, starting with the first

HSG for primary infertility, then referred to a u/s where I assume

they were looking for it, then MRI which unbelievably stated that I

suffered from " bilateral ovarian cysts " (can you believe that one?),

and finally the lap hys which confirmed SU at the time of the first

resection attempt. So much " normal this " and " normal that " , it

makes me very wary these days. In any case, you now hopefully are

on the way to a proper dx.

It's good that you are questioning these inconsistencies, and it

would be good to ask your doc about it. I do know that we were born

with our MS, they don't develop as we get older. Another thing I do

know is that a uterus can be completely normal in size with an MS

like SU. If it is not the same doc who did the other u/s, you

should definitely discuss the inconsistencies with your doc. In my

experience docs can get very upset and sometimes come up with the

most bizarre justifications if ever confronted with their own

inconsistencies or mis-diagnoses, i.e. be diplomatic about it if you

are still seeing the same doc who conducted the u/s over the

years... Good luck.
