Guest guest
Hi I get Rituxan infusions and it does take six hours to have it done. Joyce xxxx [ ] rheumatologist - report I had my infusion yesterday and saw my doctor. I told him I wanted to try Mtx injections because I continue to be sick every week from the Mtx. He suggested changing drugs instead. (I'm wondering why he didn't suggest that earlier -- I have been sick from Mtx every week since I started it in April of 08.) He said the only reason I am taking it at this point is that there seems to be fewer side effects from the Remicade when you are taking a small amount of another drug. He named two to try, and one is good for Crohn's, so we're trying that. Imuran. He would have given me a cortisone shot in my knee yesterday, but I was curious if it would get better from the Remicade, so I'm giving it ten days. Last night I was wishing I had just gotten the shot. He did order x-rays on my knee. There was a guy getting a Rituxan infusion. I think he said it lasts six hours. (the infusion). I also had my thyroid uptake scans done yesterday, so will soon be starting some treatment for my thyroid. I see the RA doc again in four months. Does anyone remember the chemical that is in watermelon and causes inflammation? I searched the archives and didn't find it. dd **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. Guest guest
dd, I hope things get better for you, sometimes it takes awhile to get the right meds. I know it's not easy, getting to that point. Take care, Tawny > > I had my infusion yesterday and saw my doctor.
