I'm thinking that woman doesn't know what she's talking about. I

have a 5 mo. old and the pediatrician was still pretty adamant about

putting her on her back to sleep even as her head kept getting

flatter because of Tort.

most doctors I know say they are fine when they can consistantly roll over b/c how are you going to keep them there anyway, all mine could roll at 5 months.

I haven't quite left. Our son graduated from his helmet 16 months ago

and I still think about his head shape (I highly recommend the helmet

and don't regret it at all, just that we took so long to get into it).

It is becoming more of an issue as we are expecting next month. We

went to babies r us tonight and they had a sleep positioner by a dr.

plagio. the part were the baby's head lies was solid and was not

memory foam at all. I think these are pretty new, but does anybody

have any experience with them?

Also, while we were out, a woman at the store said that the new

recommendations are that a baby can sleep on his/her stomach or back

from birth. I will check with our ped, but has anyone heard this or is

the lady full of it?

Thank you,

I was given a sample of the new positioner and am yet to use it, my son is a week old and we just got back from the hospital. I will let you know how it works. As for the sleeping thing, they are still telling us back to sleep at Kaiser, but like Jen said, keep us updated if you hear differently. I tend to put my son on his side (switching back and forth of course) when he's awake and supervised as a pre-caution this time. Suspect if you are eating out at all in UK You are outsalting the Spiro. Exactly what on your kidneys did they want to operate on? There are HTN EXPERTS in UK and I know many. Where do u live now? Try to get your team to do a 24 hr urine for Na K and creat or even a spot urine in the office. If there is not more K in urine than Na then Send numbers and I will eat ate ntake. May your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertensionOn Jun 17, 2012, at 16:27, K <_Kabrna@...> wrote:

For the last 2 years I have been helping my late wife during her battle with Bowel Cancer which she lost last July. Prior to that I had seen two different Endo's in the UK for the first time (I was Dx 1977 and currently on 100 mg Spiro and 15 mg Enalapril)and both suggested surgery on my kidneys. The last Endo in Burnley suggested I didn't have Conns at all, even though I have had a sub-total adrenalectomy in 1978 and that Spiro is the only drug that brings my BP back down after they did their failed Aldo / Renin Ration test 18 months ago. Recently however the tachycardia has kicked in after a long period of quiesence. Having been on these meds for so long, what might I expect? Is diabetes a possibility? Are other patients in a similar position offered kidney surgery? Is it worth it! Very difficult to maintain confidence in local physicians. Since my wife passed away I have been much more focused on eating foods with as little Na in as possible.

Sorry for the long post.
