Guest guest
Yes I am inside. The Fire Dept was just here again because the fire was smoking quite a bit. I called to ask about him burning in a neighborhood and that is NOT allowed (commercial)much less 25 feet from a stand of bambooooooo. which is right next to my house. He will get a citation every time they come out. He is such a jerk for doing this. It is beautiful weather and I can't sit on my porch, now that just isn't right. Guest guest
Peggy and Fire People just don't listen. When I was in teens, we had a place at the lake. My parents had decided one Saturday they were going to clear out all the underbrush on the entire lot and burn it. Ok, I tried to tell them that it was too windy and dangerous and I wasn't going to be a part of it. My last words as I walked to my car to leave and spend the day elsewhere were " I'll be back right after the fire trucks leave. " Late that afternoon, I return there. Of course they don't immediately tell me but my neighbor did. The fire trucks had been there all afternoon putting the fire out and keeping it from spreading and had left not 15 minutes before I arrived. Generally, I thought my parents were smart and I never could figure out why they couldn't see the obvious that day. Now, you need to take whatever steps necessary to protect your health since they've already clearly shown themselves not to be trustworthy in regard to this wood. > > Oh Peggy, that's just horrible. Guest guest
Peggy, We are all doing all right. is still looking for a job. The job interview that she had on Friday was a marketing company. had thought that they needed graphic designers. NO they didn't. I wish that I had time to go and stay with her a few days. I have a busy two weeks coming up. I am going back to my class to exercise tomorrow morning. I have two doctor appointments next week, another on the 22nd. I am working on getting to go to San . I went to church yesterday. Eddie always gets up early to go to Sunday School because he helps in the Youth Department. I like to go to our couples class but because of the massive renovation & construction that is going on at my church, the elevator is not in use. My class moved back upstairs because that part was finished somewhat. I decided to jump and get ready to go with Eddie. He was somewhat surprised. When we got there, Eddie takes my Bible & book upstairs and runs to the Youth Suite because they are cooking breakfast down there. I turned my Helios on Coninous and on 4. I took one step at a time and checked my sat on each step. VERY SLOWLY! Few people were there because it was very early. I got upstairs and my sat stayed on 94. YEA! Then, I sat down and rested awhile because I had to walk down a long hall to the class. My sat was good but my heart rate was fast. After my heart rate became somewhat normal for me, I walked down the long hall. When I got to my class, I was the first one there. I even brought along my own water. I sat down and got comfortable. I started reading the lesson and had my Bible turned to the right passage. Some people were going into the class across from mine. (Singles Class). A lady on a cane was walking into the class.(I already know her) and I asked her: Did you walk up those stairs? She said "No, I went up the elevator" And I said "How?" Then the facilities supervisor stepped into view and he said the elevator was working. I told them I went up the stairs and had no idea it was now accessible. After my class, I went down the elevator. The facilities supervisor told me to follow the signs. I went down to the first floor from the second floor. The door opened and I saw no signs. I was in a mess of construction! I walked and walked. I could hear people in the hall on the other siide of a padlocked doorway. I got out my cell phone. Eddie was not available. Finally I figured out: Go back to the elevator. (I am very dense I know I am!) I walked back to the elevator (on wet concrete) and on the other side of the elevator was a sign pointing the OTHER way! It was a sign that you don't see when you get off the elevator. Since I had not gone up the elevator, I did not know which way to go. DUH! After church, I told the facilities supervisor that there was no sign when one gets off the elevator. He told me that the sheet rock guys took it down. That was my adventure at church. Peggy, do you think your neighbor saw you and going to church, so he thought he would burn it while you were gone? You might have to stay at home! (LOL) Toodles!
