insurance hell

please someone have some positive answere. Heres how my story goes.

I had an appt. with dr. rabkin and I was sold on him for a surgeon.

I did all my homework on all procedures out there and the ds was best

for me. the problem is my insurance company. I have pacific care

p.o.s. so i thought to avoid all the hoop jumping i would go out of

network and pay the 20%. But my insurance informs me that they will

not and do not cover wls out of network only through the hmo. So i

went through the hmo. they will not allow me to see dr. rabkin

because he is not part of their group and no one in their group does

the ds. when i explained that i only want the ds. I was basically

told too bad you can only have what we will offer you. does anyone

have any suggestions? is there hope? i am so emotionally straineed

i can " t handle it.
