Hi All I'm interested in getting this Wii Fitness, too! One concern I have is the balance board--I read how the inventor modeled it after he saw those giant sumo wrestlers balance on 2 scales to weigh themselves--what I want to know is--is the balance board a scale? Can you use it without having to weigh? I feel really god right now and I don't want any numbers on a scale messing up my head! Thanks for replying if you know the answer to this question! love MeredithKatcha wrote: Congrats on finding a way to enjoy exercising :) It beats forcingone's self to do it 'for your own good' - phooey! They do weigh you. It shows you your BMI first (which we all know is a load of crap) and then you can choose to see your weight or continue. You can also just skip through without seeing it but, like I said, it does want you to pick a weight loss goal.I've been doing IE for a year now and have finally gotten to the point where I'm not obsessed with the scale (it is what it is). I like Wii Fit because I feel like I'm having fun and even though the game's objective is to help me lose weight, MY objective is to be more active and have fun.Does that make any sense?
