Guest guest
Tina, Good for the two of you! Actually, I would like to know more about adoption - I think that is the next step for us as well. I already started looking into US adoption and the process takes about 3 years. How about foreign adoption? I have heard it is much faster. The prolem for us is that my husband (to complicate things even further) has recently been diagnosed with cancer (stage III Melanomia) and all the paperwork I received from the agencies state they require a certification of good health from both parents. Did your agency require something like that? My husband is doing very well after 3 surgeries and there is hope that the cancer was all removed. But I don't think anyone will give him a bill of perfect health for awhile yet. Please let me know more. You can email me at my personal address too - seen above. I would apprechiate your words of advice on this area. Looking forward to hearing from you again! Keep me posted on your progess with the adoption (by the way, I went to Guatemala a couple years ago and the people there are amazing and beautiful - the children are precious - but of course all children are!).
