Guest guest
Good morning , I wanted to respond to your post because I too have the lumps you speak of, and my rheumatologist calls them nodules. I have two on my left index finger knuckle joint, 1 on my right idex finger knuckle joint, and a glob of them on my right elbow. I have asked my rheumatologist on two different occassions if they could or should be taken off. She said the glob on my elbow could be taken off but said it would come back. I hope this helps a little. Take care. These lumps are next to what used to be the most painful joint, and now it does not hurt, but the joint next to it really hurts. Strange, isn't it? I take methtrex (5 a week), 2 naproxon daily, two tramadol daily, two folic acid ( when I rember). So, has anyone else had lumps pop up? Couldn't get into my Rheumy, so my internist took the xrays. Won't know for a while what it is. Cyn Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
Hi : I have a big nodule on the outside of my right foot by the arch. I have had it for several years now. My feet were hit the hardest with RA, and when I am flaring, this is very painful. Not much we can do about them.  Hugs,  Barbara From: <thea7441aol (DOT) com> Subject: [ ] Lumps near joints " @gro ups.com " < @gro ups.com> Date: Monday, December 28, 2009, 7:05 AM  I just had my right hand xrayed because I have a promenent lump next to a joint, and another one forming. Guest guest
I had nodules on my elbow when I was first diagnosed with RA, but they later went away. My finger joints next to by nails have little nodules that are from Osteo I don't think they will go away.
