40 weeks OB update (pg ment)

Hello,

I just saw OB this morning and everything is still the same. Still haven't

dilated yet except there s a very little opening in my cervix. Everything else

is fine.

I have been scheduled for labor induction next Wed. at the hospital. I will be

given some gel for softening the cervix on that day and wait for about 12 hrs to

see if any labor would occur. If nothing happens, then I will get injected with

Piticon the next day in the morning. I sure hope to be able to deliver

naturally, although my OB doubts I would be able to because of my pelvis size

being too small for my baby's size (she suspects that my baby weighs about 8

lbs!). My OB feels that it s highly likely that I will have a c-section but

supports me to attempt to deliver naturally first.

Wow, I will be having a baby so close to Christmas next Thursday or Friday!

Thanks for all of your support and that means a lot to me. For those of you who

have SU, hope this story is an inspiration for you, too.
