Dear Barbara.....

Thanks for the good words, can't have too much of those or old time

movvies.......watchig Mr Blanding Builds his Dream House.? Boy they just don't

make like them.? Or shopping on TV for more jewelery.? As you can guess, I ddn't

go to the dr.?

?Sometimes I just can't go to those guys.? They get me so upset with what they

say and what they don't say.? Usually they can't decide medication and end up

with 24? hours in the hospital..

?

Please take good care of yourself my sweet friend.? Hopefully the great Sun will

make your bones & joints feel as jood as they possibly can.

Gentle, tender, warm angel hugs...............

Hi Debbie:  I was so sorry to read about your E.R. visit.  I am praying so hard

that all this shit stops raining down on you.  You so deserve and need a break

from all your illnesses and hospital stays.  It is so hard when our immune

system is so compromised.  What a terrible blow for your husband to lose his

job.  Yikes, no wonder he is depressed.  At least he will be home with you, so

maybe that is a good thing for both of you.

Did the Dr. say how long it will take for your breast to heal?  You must be

in agony with it.  I hope you start to heal soon, and be on the road to a

complete recovery from all this.

I will continue to pray for you Debbie, and that things begin to turn around

for you.  You have way too much on your plate right now.  Hang in there.  I know

there will be better days ahead for you.  I say, " enough is enough " . God Bless

you and your family in all ways, and please get well soon.

Much love and many hugs,

Barbara

I hate when that happens!!!!! !!

I just got out of the hospital two weeks ago and 1 week of in home IV

antibiotics for cellulitis of my left breast.? The breast was bright red, hot

and HUGE.? The joke while I was in the ER was " how long have you? this was the

third time I have had cellulitis on the left side of my body.? The infectious

disease has no clue, just treats them as they occur.

I have finished the antibiotics at home and still feel awful.? My hemoglobin

started dropping while in the hospital, so back on the IV iron.? I feel so weak

and blah.?? During all this, my husband who worked for the County, had his

position eliminated.? He is 66 years old but was not ready to retire for another

3 years.? So right now, he is looking for contract work and now we have to find

Medicare supplement and himself, me and our daughter (she is autistic).? We will

have to find a single policy for my youngest daughter (she's my care taker).? My

husband is fighting depression at this time so I feel at times that I am tap

dancing on my forehead.? My breast is still painful, but I don't think swollen.?

When it rains it pours!!!!!!

It is still summer (98 degrees during the day and 80's during the night) here in

Florida.? I know y'all woke up to cold temperatures and some snow, that is one

thing I don't miss from Chicago!.

Stay warm and pain free my dear friends!!!

Gentle, tender, angel hugs

Hi Debs: I know exactly what you mean about all the dr. appts. we have

to go to. My daughter said to me a few years ago, " Gee Mom, the

only socialization you have is going to all those drs. " Boy was she

right. I too cut back on these. I had to see a lung dr. for quite

awhile, but everything turned out good, so I no longer have to see him.

I also saw a E.N.T. dr. for a problem, but it is finally gone so I don't

see him anymore. I was having so many tests at the hosp., I was so glad

when I didn't have to go anymore. It seemed I had a dr. appt.or tests

or blood work everyday. It wore thin, as you well know.

I know you have been so very sick, seriously, and I hope you start to

feel better soon. I hope you just postponed your dr. appt. to another

day. Maybe when you feel better you will go. Unfortunately, we really

need these drs. to try and stay healthy as best we can.

It seemed like everywhere you turned it was bad news. I can't blame you

for not wanting to hear anymore bad news. It is very depressing. But,

you know deep inside we have to go and get checked out. I told you

before it is your turn for good news. When we are down, we simply can't

think straight. I am the same way.

I think of you so much, and so pray for you to have better health. You

need a break from all you have been through.

I just want to tell you that I am doing better, and have a court date

next month to see the Judge, and get some support money from my husband.

He feels it is all his, and I am due nothing. I have no idea when we go

to court for the divorce. Who would have thought a year ago, I would be

dealing with all this pain and suffering. I am much better, stronger,

in all ways. I finally stopped all that crying, which I am so grateful

for. I didn't know when I could start to heal and feel better. It is

still very painful, and a great sadness for me and my family and

friends. I truly don't know if I will ever recover from this. He has

broken my heart, and I have loved him since the day I met him. I will

love him till the day I die. I tried so hard to save my marriage, but I

could not do it alone. All I asked him to do was go to a marriage

councelor and he refused. He wanted me to come home and continue our

marriage as if he did nothing wrong. I could not do it. I am a

survivor that's for sure.

I am going home to Mass. Sept 1 for a few days to spend time with my

daughter, son-in-law, and my beautiful little granddaughters. They are

now 2 and 3. I can't wait to get them in my arms. It will be a happy

trip home.

Please take care of yourself. You are in my prayers, and thoughts. It

is always nice to chat with you.

Hugs, your friend,

Barbara

I have been reading your thread. First, sorry for your pain. I know how much

cellulitis H-U-R-T-S, I have had it many times before.

You mentioned you had it 3 times on the left side of your body. I wanted to

tell you that this happens to my husband too, all the time. First, he had a

tooth problem, which let bacteria go directly to the bloodstream via the jaw,

this allowed bacteria to enter and cause him cellulitis in his leg. Once that

was resolved, it was discovered that he had a circulation problem, very poor

circulation in his body, ergo his blood doesnt flow steadily throughout the

body. If you have even the slightest wound in your body, and poor circulation,

bacteria can enter your bloodstream and cause the cellulitis. he had gout,

which created a tophi (crystallized sore on the toe) and the bacteria used to

enter that way, he got cellulitis many times via that wound. I was wondering if

this may be happenning to you as well?

Actually believe it or not, I resolved the problem very simply. I had him apply

several times a day Purell Hand Sanitizer to any open wound or even once a paper

cut he had to kill any harmful bacteria on the skin. He hasnt had it in a

while.

Do you have any cuts, or sores on your body that maybe bringing bacteria to your

bloodstream? Have you checked your teeth and gums?

I hope you get better soon, and stay better.

OKD
