SEVERE withdrawal symptoms with Elavil (Tremors & Seizures?!)

I wanted to knwo if anyone has had SEVERE withdrawal

symptoms to Elavil. I have actually had three mini

seizures, (or severe tremors in legs and arms) and

haven't slept barely at all for almost a week.. it

only happens when I'm about to sleepo, and I'm

completely relaxed.

STupid me stopped taking it without my docs notice,

mainly because I was having an opposite reaction to it

( up all night literally no sleep) and quit taking to

get some sleep. Ironically, it has had the opposite

effect. I am now on muscle relaxers (in ER twice now)

to stop the tremors and try and put me to sleep.. the

muscle relaxers stopped the tremors, but I sitll can't

sleep. I'm going crazy, and the E.R> docs both were

sure it was abrupt withdrawal from Elavil..

Any ideas?
