Zinc Oxide & Dimethicone Moisturizer

Hello group,

After reading Dr. Nase' comments about zinc & dimethicone and compounding

pharmacies I called a compounding pharmicist with whom I already have a good

relationship---he compounds the hormones I take. He works for the oldest

compounding pharm. in the US. My family doctor has been very impressed with his

knowledge and skill. Ther pharm. says he can make a moisturizer by compounding

both zinc and dimethicone into to a base which is free of alcohol, colors, and

fragrance. He must have a formula (what % each of zinc, dimeth. and base) to

start with though, and I've asked to forward the request to Dr. Nase who I

hope might be willing to suggest a formula.

As soon as I can get a formula to the pharmacist I will post the name of the

pharm, the toll-free phone and fax numbers, as well as the address of the

pharmacy.
