Guest guest
Yes! It happened again!! Yet another pharmaceutical allergic reaction!!! I'm getting really good at these. As I said before, I went to the doctor Friday. I got a flu shot in one arm, and a pneumonia vaccine in the other arm. Of course, they didn't chart which arm had what. My arms hurt the rest of the day on Friday. By Saturday, I couldn't life my hands above my waist. The shot in my right arm turned into a pick hot spot a little bigger than a half dollar. The spot on my left arm turned into a pink hot spot bigger than a coaster. I tried ibuprofen, tylenol, ice, heat, anything that I could think of. Then again on Saturday, I started in with a headache that is still here. Sunday night, started the nausea, the muscle aches, the itching, a slight fever but still under normal, etc. I laid in bed praying that I not get the flu from a flu shot. Today, my arm itches, the pink coaster is still there, my arms are heavy, I have the headache, and my eyes are glassed over. It's a good think that our systems at work didn't work most of the day because I needed to work on something that I didn't have to think about. LOL. Anyway. No more flu shots or pneumonia vaccines for me. Still waiting for the blood tests to come back from Saturday. Oh, and they realized that they forgot a test so they called that one in for tomorrow. LOL. I love my life, I love my life, I love my life.... over and over again. LOL. So along with flu and pneumonia shots, I'm allergic to theodure, rocephin, vancomyacin, and Zyvox. I'm utterly screwed if in need of another surgery because they won't be able to find an antibiotic that I can take. LOL. Jayne
