Guest guest
Hello*!!!! I just read what wrote about the HSG not being 100% accurate and I think what she means (I could be wrong, but this is what my DR told me) is that just because it showed you have a blocked tube doesn't always mean that it is blocked....I know someone on FT that had 2 blocked tubes according to her HSG....so she went in to have a lap done to try and remove the scarring and such in her tubes, but they did anbother HSG when she was under and her tubes were clear....TUBES can spasm with the dye they use....I have heard this is very common...so that would slow the dye down or not even let it out one end.... Now with an open tube you might have some little blockages that don't always show on the screen....I am not sure if when doing the HSG they time or what to know how fast the dye is going or if they know how fast it should go or what, but everyones body is different so if that is the case then some might flow faster.... I hope that didn't confuse you anymore or anything....{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}} I know after both my HSG's I had to schedule an appt to discuss the outcome....the results they tell you in the room might not be the definite outcome....mine changed...I was told I had 2 great flowing tubes no problems...then at my follow up they said nope I had a partially blocked right tube (ectopic side)....
