Guest guest
Thanks, Janet, for posting this. It was interesting to read and I am now wondering if there may be some kind of mercury detox going on with me. I seem to be having an exasperation of symptoms and I have really upped my vitamin D. I wonder if there is a connection. I am off to a new neuro tomorrow. His practice has a website which I was just searching. They mention natural treatments and list Diet as one of them. They mention the Swank and a modified Macdougal. I had never heard of the last one, but felt a bit encouraged to see that it was even mentioned. Maybe this wont be a complete waste of my time?!?! McDougall is kind of the " pioneer " for going gluten- and casein-free back in the 50's to recover from MS. The BBD is pretty much an outgrowth of that, with the addition of supplements and elimination of beans, peas, legumes. Congrats, it looks like you've found a good neuro! Be sure to let us know how it goes. Crystal
