Guest guest
Go with your instinct. If you are worried, go to the doctors. Don't wait. Last February my son Owen was having a very "off" day. Wasn't feeling well, teeth kept chattering but no fever, real long afternoon nap. Anyways, I kept thinking maybe I should take him to the doctors. Instead, I called my sister in law who is an ER nurse and she said it sounded like a bug that was going around and to keep an eye on him. I did, gave him Tylenol before bed, and in the middle of the night he let out a blood curdling scream and then had a massive seizure. He had a virus yes, but he was going into a metabolic crisis because of it. Thank God he was ok but now if I am concerned at all, I pack him up and off to the doctors we go. If anything else, it will give you piece of mind to hear that he is ok. I have a very understanding Pedi that I am grateful for, and I hope you do too. I hope your son feels better real soon. Does he have a fever that accompanies the rash?? Take care. Bridget Mom to Owen 3, suspected PDH and Gabe, 8 months developing well concerned a bit......
