I have Restless Leg Syndrome. The leg jerking sounds like that, but I

don't have it with my arms. With me, it isn't exactly a pain, but it

is, if that makes any sense. It is so hard to discribe. But you can not

be still, and it does keep you awake. And it usually hits at bedtime,

or when you just try to relax. I take Requip for this as well as Ambien

SR for sleep.

Deborah-

I also have Myoclonus. I tried klonopine The effects wore off in a few months. Then I tried klonopin and 600mg of neurontin. The effects of those meds wore off in a month. What do you do for the Myoclonus?. I hate the myoclonus. It jerks me awake. It is like someone shaking you every few minutes all night long. I also tried requip. It didn't work at all. I slept four hours tonight. I am irritable. I just want to sleep.

JoAnne,

Have you ever tried requip for RLS? It has helped me a lot. I am

sleeping better now. If you haven't tried it, you might suggest it to

your Dr.

I just read an article on ambien and sleep walking...any problems with

that?

My doc upped my elavil today to 50mg, which is the amount I took in

the 80s for migraines. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep.

I have not had a problem. I think sometimes they over react, and take a

few who have problems, and maybe capitalize on that, if that is the

word I want. I also heard them talking about people not being awake

enough in the Morning, and driving and having accidents. It does warn

you not to drive or opporate machinery until you see how it affects

you.I have taken it for several years, and no problem.(I took ambien,

and now take the ambien cr)
