Guest guest Posted October 23, 2003 Report Share Posted October 23, 2003 Well, I guess we mothers do know best. Arek had another bad day at school. No problem going, but the teachers said it was the first day he was crying on and off. Also, he did not touch his food and it was PIZZA. Now that is unheard of. He loves pizza. So I spoke with the teachers again, saying we are running tests but are considering that it may be a behavior problem. Later today I found out from the pediatrician that the tests came in positive for Mono. In a way I am relieved. I mean I don't want my kids to be sick, but I'm not looking forward to dealing with a little monster either. He's being re-checked tomorrow to make sure his spleen is ok. Boy, he hates the doctor as is....... and believe me I do not want him taking another blood test. Thank you all for your support during the last few days were I was trying to figure out whether it was our parenting that was bad or his health.
