Guest guest
I didn't take your email as critical, and I'm glad that you found something that worked/works for you! I wanted to make sure no one felt as if I was trying to assert a dx, I got the feeling that you or someone else might have felt that way. I know I tend to be critical of doctors, because I've been through so much, but I never, ever even think I can render dx. I only want to assert to everyone that we are our own best advocate and to never take the word of a physician without checking it out. Too much can be at stake by not checking it out. My personal experience with diabetes is that I was told I wasn't diabetic when indeed my numbers exceeded the criteria for diabetes given by the American Diabetes Association. It seems that, unless the ADA is wrong, there is way too much misinformation out there among docs when it comes to dx and treating diabetes. Guest guest
Thanks for the info on the AACE, ! I've never heard of them, 'cause I've never seen an endo. Gonna look up their stuff right now.
