Guest guest
Hello, I am new to the group, and would like to introduce myself. My name is Jill, and I am 32 years old. I have been happily married for 16 years. My husband and I have three daughters ages 16(on March 22 03), 14 and 5, and we recently had a son on Oct.18,02. I really didn't plan on having a tl, but my husband kept saying throughout my pregnancy that he was going to have a vasectomy, and I told him to wait until I had the baby in case I needed a csection, and then I would just go ahead and have a tl. Well, sure enough I needed an emergency csection (I really never thought that I would have needed one), so I went ahead with the tl procedure. Five days after the birth of my son the horror of what I had done to myself set in. The reality of never being able to conceive again hit me hard. Ever since then I have been searching the internet for information concerning tr. I would like to have it as soon as possible (June/July), but I am nursing, and I'm planning to continue until he turns 1 (Oct.03). Does anyone know how long the anesthesia would stay in my system for? Due to nursing I can't help but think that I should wait until he is weaned. Also, I am interested in having a surgery buddy. How do I go about getting one? Also, I live in north Texas. Thank you! Jill
