When I first was diagnosed I went on a high protein diet and I ate a lot

of protein. Overate it really...i had at least 4 to 6 ounces at lunch

and dinner. I got really sick after a few months and developed real bad

kidney pain that led me in the ER and on strong pain meds..it was like

having a baby!

My husband just sent this article to me that confirmed to me that I must

watch not only my carbs but my protein and fat too..its a complete

package for us diabetics..
