Guest guest
Pam Happy to hear everything looked good today. I'm so excited for you! What do you go back for on cd7...another u/s? What cd does the retrieval happen on? Sorry if I'm asking something you've explained before, but there is just so much to try to remember...maybe I should start taking notes -Amy

Guest guest
Pam, It's good that you took a ride to the hospital, this way there won't be any confusion later. Don't be nervous, this is what you waited for... I agree with your thought of only implanting 2 eggs. We have been having the same discussions with my doctor, he originally wanted to implant 4 eggs but I said that I couldn't do that because I am against selective reduction. After losing one child to ep, I couldn't intentionally destroy another. maria baseline u/s (IVF ment) >Hi All > >My u/s today looked good. I had one small cyst but nothing to stop us >from starting. Guest guest
Amy After I start the stims I go back 5 days later which will be cd7. They will check the follies. I should have a good idea at that point of a retrieval date. I asked today so we can plan with our employers. It will probably be in about 2 weeks. Guest guest
Pam This next 2 weeks should just fly by! It probably won't seem that way to you, but let's hope so!!!! -Amy > Amy > > After I start the stims I go back 5 days later which will be cd7. > They will check the follies. Guest guest
Thats the hard part. I go to a Satelite office for all my u/s and b/w. For retrieval and transfer we have to drive to Boston. Which is about an hour away. So my dh will go with me both days. I am not sure when he does his thing. Probably during my retrieval. I will let you know when we get closer to and I know whats going on. Pam
Guest guest
Hi IUI is intra-uterine-insemination. After I had lap surgery to try and open my tubes we did a couple of cycles with super ovulation. I just want to get pg then I figure after I have a baby I can work on getting in shape. Theres plenty of time later right? Pam
Guest guest
An Re is a reproduction endocrinologist Super ovulation is where you take injections to produce more eggs. The IUI they put the sperm into your uterus. With IVF they take the eggs fertilize and put them back. Pam
Guest guest
Pam, I understand what you're going through with the driving. My new doctor (the fertility specialist) is over an hour away. Before the ep I was seeing him weekly, in addition to daily trips to the hospital for b/w (I could have gone to him for the b/w, but the hospital is only 10 minutes from my house). Next week will be my first time back since the follow up a week after the ep. I'm excited to start IVF, but also nervous. I gained so much weight after the ep. Part of me wants to just take time to lose the weight, the other part doesn't care about the weight and just wants to be pregnant again (this time with a healthy pregnancy). maria Re: baseline u/s (IVF ment) > > >Thats the hard part. Guest guest
Pam, What is the difference between IUI and IVF, it sounds the same to me? I've never heard of super ovulation either. Sometimes I think I really understand, then I'm lost again. Getting in shape after the baby sounds good to me. My friend Vicky usually gaine 45+ lbs. each pregnancy - she said nursing really helps to take it off quickly, not to mention being better for the baby. maria Re: baseline u/s (IVF ment) >Hi > >IUI is intra-uterine-insemination.
